Returning home is something I always imagined I'd do. I just didn't know when.
Like all of you, I endured the pandemic that befell planet earth in 2020. Weaving took a backseat to caring for my father from across America. Sadly, my biggest cheerleader passed away in early 2021. My partner and I spent the next three years living btwn Los Angeles, NYC and Long Island NY. I spent too much time away from the studio. My hands itched to get back onto the loom. I found myself distracted. In constant movement, but not really getting anyplace.
And as 2024 comes to an end, I have vowed to get back to it. Back to creativity, in whatever form it takes. So, stay tuned...I am creating again. Slowly the urge and desire to create is coming back to me. Its kind of like riding a bicycle. :)
