How did we get to Valentine's Day weekend 2026 already...?
It seems like just yesterday that I was celebrating New Years Eve in LA with friends...ringing in 2001. We spent that evening watching Stanley Kubrick's 2001, A Space Odyssey just for kicks. Somehow a quarter century has flashed by and here we are in mid February 2026. Having endured almost two entire dark winters on the east coast after thirty years on the west coast, I have to say, its not for the faint of heart. I honestly haven't used a sewing machine with any regularity since HS. Didn't know if I could still do it. Thanks to my neighbor Stephanie who showed me the basics (again) I am back on track.
I love to weave. We know this. The challenge of assembling a pillow that is not only beautiful but also functional has had me on my toes. Its had me cursing at my sewing...
